We're NOT a Union and Damned Proud of it!

It today's world, who'd want to be known as a union? Not the Australian Prison Officers Association, that's for damned sure.

Australian unions have fought and won countless rights for workers over the years, or so the rhetoric says. But when you take a closer look, what is that you see? 

Personally, I see a tangled web of deception, lies and outright puff, when it comes to the modern union movement. I say this from a well informed position as a professional Advocate and Investigator and as a former union official myself.

My father, his father and countless others before me and of my own blood have invested millions of dollars in unions dues and tireless efforts promoting the "greater good" of our "comrades" over the years of our working lives, and for what?

Today we see the common trend of unions is to "organise" instead of servicing members, we see them email templates, rather than attending worksites and actually assisting members with workplace issues.

We hear endless tales of union corruption and 7 figure donations of union members money to political party that can no longer decide if it's left or right, good or bad, effective or ineffective.

The truth is, the Australian union movement is doomed, and the death toll is getting louder every day.

It's time to take a stand for what's right, take a stand against union corruption and invest in an organisation that will always have your back.
